About Tony Furtado
Tony has been in the construction industry for over 30 years and has been creating and building with his hands since a young child while watching and learning from his father. He started in construction at the age of 17 while attending school and completing his post secondary education at VCC in Structural Drafting. He also worked in the lumber industry for 10 years and holds a lumber grading ticket. Tony is known for providing high quality work by paying attention to detail and never cutting corners. Through the many years of experience, he has developed the knowledge, talent and skills to seamlessly resolve even the most complex challenges that may arise.
About Niky Furtado
Like his father, Niky’s passion for building and design started at the young age of 12 where he assisted his father in many of his renovation projects. His passion for mechanics and building led him to success within the field. He received an Architectural Structural Drafting diploma and completed part 1 of Heavy Duty Mechanics, which were both attained through BCIT. Niky is now putting his focus on gaining more insight and knowledge towards building his skills in the renovation and construction industry. His precision and meticulousness make him a valuable asset and great addition to the Furtado Contracting team. In his spare time, as a member of the Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club, you can find him at the Mission Raceway Park making his way through the track.
